Operations Department

- Developing and promoting to all seagoing and shore based staff awareness of the need to operate the vessels to the highest standards, consistent with International and National legislation, and ensuring that the appropriate procedures are followed and the correct measures are taken to implement this.

- Issuing proper voyage instructions to the Masters related to the operational, cargo and loss prevention matters and ensuring that the Master is aware and familiar with all C/P terms and important details.

- Monitoring all chartering operations, freight collection, claims of the company and communicating with Charterers whenever it is considered necessary, to ensure that they are satisfied with the vessel’s performance and promote Company’s relations with them.

- Liaising with the Technical Department in respect of the matters concerning the vessel's maintenance and voyage performance.

- Appointing and instructing agents as necessary and arranging for remittance of funds to cover port expenses.

- Stemming bunkers sufficient for the voyage and ensure that they are of good quality and delivered without delay and interference to the vessel's operation.
